Inria Convention Center

The AI4EO Symposium will be organized at Inria convention center which frequently hosts international conferences. The convention center includes an auditorium (capacity: 240 seats) with modern audio-visual equipment, a reception space for coffee breaks as well as three smaller rooms (capacity: 50 persons each) which may be used separately or joined together for lunches, poster sessions, etc. A high-quality Wi-Fi network covers the full center which also allows access to the Eduroam network.

How to get there?

The Inria center at Rennes University is situated at Beaulieu Campus in the eastern part of Rennes. It can easily be reached using the city public transport services. Either the bus stop Tournebride at the southern end of the campus or the metro station Beaulieu-Université at the northern end of the campus can be used.

From the city center

You have two options:

  1. You can take the bus routes C4 and C6 from the bus stop République to the Tournebride bus stop. From there, it is a 10 minutes walk to the venue at Bealieu Campus.
  2. You can take the metro line B from Saint-Anne or Saint-Germain metro stations to Beaulieu-Université (direction Cesson-Viasilva). From there you walk 15 minutes to the conference center.

From the train station

You have three options:

  1. You exit the train station to Place de la Gare and follow the great avenue (Jan Javier) to the North, until you reach the bridge Pont Pasteur that crosses the Vilaine. Instead of crossing the bridge, you turn right and go to the bus stop Musée Beaux Arts. From here, you can take the bus routes C4/C6 to Tournebride and walk to the conference center.
  2. You take metro line A (direction J.F. Kennedy) to République and take the buslines C4/C6 to Tournebride. From there it is a 10 minute walk to the conference center.
  3. You take metro line B (direction Cesson-Viasilva) to Beaulieu-Université at the northern end of the campus. From there you walk 15 minutes to the conference center.

From the airport

You can use the direct bus connection C6 to reach the Tournebride bus stop. From there you walk 10 minutes to the conference center. For more information on connections from the airport to the city center please see Rennes/How to get there.
